Nick Schreiber has been in construction for 30+ years. Starting at a young age helping his stepdad on jobsites cleaning up and nailing sheeting and hangers. At age 15 he began over seeing his own framing crew. Upon graduation of high school Nick decided to enter into the Air Force and specialized in metal fabrication and later becoming a security police officer. After his time in the military he went back to his love of building. Working as a superintendent and project manager for large production builders.

In 1997 Nick started Living Treasures Construction. He designed and built fences, decks and basement finishes. He even found time to build log furniture, which is where Living Treasures derives its name from. Living trees became creations built by Nick that others would treasure.

In 2006 Nick was offered an opportunity to work with Habitat for Humanity Orange County as the Vice President of construction. During his time with Habitat for Humanity he participated in several "blitz builds" (homes built in one week), planned and organized 3000 volunteers to build 22 home frames at Camp Pendleton. Nine of which were built and shipped to New Orleans for Katrina relief. Not only did he manage and help build homes for low income families but also went to Mississippi and New Orleans to help the building efforts after hurricane Katrina.

In 2008 Nick left Habitat for Humanity and started working with Big Table Media on the shows House Crashers and Room Crashers which air on DIY Network and HGTV as the managing contractor. The premiss of these shows is to redo a room in someones house in three days.

In 2014 Nick and his family moved to Middle Tennessee to start a new chapter in their lives. Seeing the need for quality craftmanship and honest contractors he brought his business with him. Nick loves what he does and takes pride in the craftsmanship it takes to build or renovate a home.

Living Treasures Construction is a family owned business. Nick and Andrea have been married 20+ years and have three beautiful girls. Some days you will see the "Schreiber Girls" helping out. Nick prides himself with treating every client as family.
